Amira, an avid gardener living in a company town controlled by the powerful EdenCorp, is shattered by the sudden and mysterious death of her husband. EdenCorp’s Acquisition Manager, Alex, arrives at her front doorstep demanding that she vacate her cherished home, accompanied by unassuming employee, Jordan, hinting at foul play by the company.

Pushed to her breaking point, Amira is determined not to lose the one place that still holds the memory of her husband, and she hatches a meticulous plan for revenge.

Lily Lunder photo

Lily Lunder is a Melbourne-based filmmaker passionate about unique, character-driven stories with a psychological edge. She holds several accolades, including winning ACMI’s Screen It competition for her film Losing Time (2017), which explored the devastating impacts of a rare genetic disease on a young boy, and being selected as a finalist for Tropfest Jr 2019.

A keen collaborator, Lily’s joint works with fellow filmmaker Koko Crozier have garnered praise for their unique storytelling, screening at numerous festivals, including the Flickerfest International Short Film Festival, Catchlight Film Festival and the Very Short Film Festival. Lily and Koko’s most recent work, The Offing, marks their debut feature film. Lily is driven by a love of creative collaboration, shooting on location and crafting philosophically stimulating pieces. Her graduating production Blood & Bone delves into themes of vengeance, grief and loss, reflecting on the deep emotional connection we form with the places we call home.
