12m Short, Deaf and disabled 2024

Sapan, a young amateur film photographer, likes to wander the streets of Melbourne looking for photos to print for his collection. One afternoon, he meets Zoe, a Deaf street photographer with a strong passion for the visual medium. Despite the language barrier, the pair learn to communicate through the universal language of photography when he shares with her a scrapbook of photographs. Together they embark on a spectacular photographic expedition through the charming Melbourne cityscape where Zoe leads Sapan through charming laneways, deserted parks, and stunning gazebos as they look for the ‘perfect’ photo. But their time together is short lived.
