Fool
Beatrix, the jester to the royal court of Virmont, has had an unhealthy obsession with Princess Aria for as long as she can remember. Over the years, both her infatuation for the princess and her hatred for Aria’s mother, the Queen of Virmont, has only increased. Now an adult serving as personal fool to the cruel, egocentric and sadistic queen – who has forbidden the girls from ever spending time with each other – Beatrix will do anything to finally be with Aria.
The day of the Queen’s Jubilee arrives, and Beatrix is supposed to perform a celebration for Her Majesty. However, the court jester has different plans entirely, and there’s only one person standing in her way.

Director Biography
Bronte Harrison is a Melbourne-based digital artist and animator. She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Animation), where she enjoyed exploring the juxtaposition of light and dark within storytelling, representing these themes in freaky and jarring ways. Her work has been shown at Fed Square and the Grainger Museum.
She has worked on projects such as the Tasmanian-based Taking up Space Project, and the Climate Superpowers project for the University of Melbourne. Bronte has received second place at Studio 66 Film Night, and was awarded a scholarship to travel to the Cook Islands for the New Colombo Plan. She is heavily inspired by musical theatre, both on stage and animated. Her love for storytelling through music and movement makes her style unique, colourful, and inviting to the eye.
