The Creek
During the gold rush of the 1850s, an old prospector pans for riches in a remote Victorian creek. Just as he is uncovering his stash, an opportunistic young immigrant from England appears, claiming to be lost. The older man promptly warns him off; but when the young man subsequently returns to the spot, the prospector grows increasingly suspicious, ultimately lashing out and drowning the Englishman in the creek.
As he packs up his camp to escape the scene, the now-drunk prospector rambles at the body of his victim and uncovers a small fortune in gold that he has hidden around the site. But the discovery is accompanied by a ghostly and menacing presence with vengeance on its mind.
