My Best Friend, Andre
It’s been a month since Terrance’s best friend Andre died. In the hope of offering the final apology he never had the chance to make, he enlists a witch to help conjure Andre’s ghost in a blood ritual. He will return in physical form, but there’s a catch: he will only get to stay for one night until daylight.
When Andre manifests, he is in no mood to stick around to hear what Terrance has to say. Instead, he flees to his favourite club, with his grieving, guilt-ridden friend in hot pursuit, desperate to find him before sunrise. Unsuccessful in his search, Terrance returns home to discover Andre waiting for him, ready to talk.

Director bio:
Dylan Do (21) is the newest drama writer/director on the block. He grew up in Melbourne’s lower-class suburbia as a first-generation immigrant from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Through the many tribulations of our white and heteronormative world, Dylan was able to find a deep resonance in the creative arts – specifically, in film.
His films expose a deeper and unspoken level of everyday life, highlighting the stigma, nuance and even a little bit of taboo in certain aspects of Australian society. Dylan is for the underdogs.
His style is bold, colourful and full of heart. Dylan never turns down an opportunity to laugh. He loves surprises and even an opportunity to cry, which is replicated through his work.
Dylan favours long-form narrative and is currently writing his first micro-budget feature to pitch next year. Regardless, Dylan is always keeping up with his slate whilst juggling adult life.
