On their way to a funeral, two young men – one of whom, Jack, is a severe germaphobe – hitch a ride with George, a distant family friend of the deceased. Jack is immediately uneasy as George casually interacts with them, but his discomfort intensifies considerably when George begins coughing violently and showing clear signs of serious illness. Every glance, every sound seems magnified in Jack’s anxious mind, and his paranoia gradually spirals out of control.
As strange, unsettling visions begin to invade Jack’s perception, the trip descends into a tense, desperate struggle.
