Join us for an encore screening of Documentary Australia’s Environmental Accelerator Film Festival, available free and online from 18-27 July, presented in partnership with ACMI.

The festival showcases eight powerful environmental documentaries, including The Giants, Delikado, Rachel’s Farm, Greenhouse by Joost, Climate Changers and Stay Tuned To Our Planet, and new additions, Power to Country and White Rock.

Learn from Bob Brown and his mission to protect our precious ecosystems; Tata Balladares and environmental land defenders in the Philippines; Rachel Ward and her journey to adopt sustainable farming practices; and zero-waste icon Joost Bakker and his story of building a self-sustaining home.

Hear from Tim Flannery and the climate leaders he encounters around the world; YouTuber Mat McKenna who spotlights everyday climate actions for young people to get involved; Shirley Simon and her journey to bring an Aboriginal-owned solar project to her community so that they can return to Country; and Damon Gameau who uncovers the explosion of long-spined sea urchins devastating Australia’s kelp forests.

Watch online by clicking “Rent” on the thumbnails below and join the movement to accelerate action for our environment.

Supported by Intrepid Travel, Documentary Australia’s Environmental Accelerator program aims to increase awareness and action on a range of pressing environmental issues by using documentary storytelling as a tool to create change.
