The Other Film Festival presents Flaunt – a loud and proud dive into disability positive cinema.

‘Flaunt takes courage, commitment and the desire to be understood,’ Guest Curator Kath Duncan said. ‘If you’ve got it, flaunt it!’

Deaf and Disabled people are constantly on display – we either look different, or move differently, or communicate differently, or feel differently, and experience the world differently.

‘Shyness is over-rated! Not every Deaf and Disabled person wants to Flaunt. Flaunt features films from people who do: performers, storytellers, stars, divas, and freaks like me,’ Kath Duncan said.

All Flaunt films are made by Deaf and Disabled people either as key creatives, collaborators, and performers.

The Other Film Festival (TOFF) is a ground-breaking disability-led program from Arts Access Victoria. TOFF was born in 2004. Since then, it has become a leader in the global disability screen advocacy movement. TOFF centres authentic storytelling and representation.

All films are free, and audio described, captioned or 100% subtitled. Find out more about access to the festival.
